Very Amateurish Volcanic Ash Experiment

A write up I sent into the SPA Forum
I've just put a couple of pieces of white kitchen roll outside as there is fine rain coming down and if there's anything volcanic in the rain it will surely show up on the sheets of Kitchen roll-I tried a few minutes ago with a face mirror to collect the rain droplets but all there was on it was clear water drops although something might show up with a microscope perhaps.

I think the media as usual have taken hold of this story and gone and blown it all out of proportion again-when that happens people get concerned and take bigger measures than what is adequate as what has happened today-just about everyone has access to the media and the 24/7 news in someway nowadays.

Personally I think it was over the top to close down all the countries airspace including half of Europe's but that's what the media is capable of doing these days-running the whole show and getting very rich for it all at the same time.

I mean lets get real-would this so called cloud of pyroclastic dust affected the countries RAF battle of Britain fought it the skies of southern England back then-NO WAY... Rolling Eyes

ADNMM:
02.56 BST Just got the 2 pieces of kitchen roll in and lo and behold there is very small fragments like extremely fine black pepper on the sheets-not much but the rain has stopped now and I only put them outside for a few minutes so they are quite vague to see-I'm sure there minute fragments of volcanic ash and dust though...
