This group is for the posting of comet observations only.

Observations are formal estimates of a comet's magnitude,
apparent coma diameter, DC, or tail length.

In order to function as a clean repository of observations,
without the "noise" of intervening conversations, please direct
all discussion to our sister lists comets-ml or CometChasing.

Less formal comet observations are always welcome on the
CometChasing group.
